This is a site designed to make it easier to take the core of large published reports and allow anyone to comment on them.


  • Progress has been made since 1997. The Government's Cross-cutting Review of the Knowledge Economy (2000) made many positive changes, including the introduction of marginal cost pricing for raw data (with the exception of trading funds), the establishment of the Office of Public Sector Information (OPSI) as a regulator, and the introduction of Information Asset Registers.
