Footnotes: 61 In some cases, the client might be encouraged to provide some details (name, etc) to support establishing a persistent pseudonym. This would general y not be mandatory and these details would not be checked. 62 For face-to-face registration, one piece of reputable evidence of the client's identity or corroboration from a trustworthy source, in addition to the client's signed personal statement, would be sufficient. 63 If the registration authority holds its own detailed records, validation against these records may count as one of the required trustworthy sources. 64 For face-to-face registration at Registration IL2, any two of the fol owing, in addition to the client's signed personal statement, would be sufficient: 1 piece of reputable evidence of the client's identity; 1 piece of evidence of the client's address; 1 piece of activity in the community or third-party corroboration. 65 For face-to-face registration, this should contain the client's signature and photograph. For remote or online registration, this should be a passport, other National Identity document, or other document which provides an equivalent or higher level of assurance of a client's identity. 66 For face-to-face registration at Registration IL3, in addition to the client's signed personal statement and additional details, one piece of reputable evidence of the client's identity, 1 piece of evidence of the client's address; 1 piece of activity in the community or third-party corroboration and one further piece of evidence from the above would be required.
