1.2.5 Those charged with the development of offline methods of government service provision to the public (such as telephone and postal applications) may wish to use this document in an advisory capacity, in conjunction with other relevant advice and guidance. For example, this document might be useful to support identification of the required level of assurance for offline processes, and to help determine an appropriate set of countermeasures.
