A.2.71 Integrity is defined as the accuracy, correctness and completeness of an information asset. This requires confidence that the contents of a communication or transaction as received by the recipient is the same as the communication sent by the originator and could not have been modified, either deliberately or accidental y, en route to the recipient. The definition of integrity that is adopted here also encompasses non-repudiation.
