Uptime requirements wil vary depending on the service to be provided, but indicative availability requirements would general y be expected to be of order 99.5% uptime with no unplanned service break of more than 15 minutes and no more than 1 unplanned service break in any 24 hour period. Particular consideration must be given to the availability requirements for accounting logs.
