repudiation schemes, as the additional trust achieved is often il usory unless the scheme is careful y constructed. Such schemes are rarely foolproof, it is therefore important that the limits of such schemes are understood and accepted by parties to the transaction. However, these methods may support a useful extra degree of trust in specific cases and provide the client with greater confidence.
